[Work Attire] Stripe Shirt dress x ZARA pointy flats

Today's new arrival item is this pair of pointy flats with metal trimmed ankle strap.

I have a meeting with high level today so I would like to dress up a little but still pertaining to look youthful and feminine.  Shirt dress with ruffle front is a good choice.  This shirt dress is from Ralph Lauren kids section (size 16).  Love the puff on the sleeves as well.  The cutting is loose A-line shift which means you will need a belt to create portion.

First picture, I put on my new love -  red Charles Philip tassel loafers.  Cute but not professional enough.
Shirt dress: Ralph Lauren (old)
Shoes: Olimpia Loafers Charles Philip Shanghai
Belt: J.Crew (old)
Watch: Coach

It's time to put on my new arrival - pointy flats.
Shoes: ZARA (size 36; here; also in Taupe)

P.S. I really love my YSL lip stain!

The metal part on the strap is not stiff and don't cut into your ankle.  Below are pictures from ZARA.com.

[Quick Share] [Life] Utility Jacket x Theodora & Callum Scarf

Taiwan is on international news recently.  Our government is going to move forward a FTA with China without proper procedures.  We, the people, should stand up to fight for our rights!

Today's outfit a casual look.  Old utility jacket from J.Crew mix with Rose Color Theodora & Callum scarf so well.  And my new love - Olimpia Tassel Loafer by Charles Philip Shanghai!  Love the rich red suede x the tassel.

Top: A&F (old); Scarf: Theodora & Callum in Rose
Jacket: J.Crew (old)
Bottom: Rag & Bone coated jeans in black
Shoes: Charles Philip Shanghai (size 6)
Bag: Cambridge Satchel Company (old)

My version is a bi-color one just like this one below but substitute green with the brown.

[Quick Share] ZARA neoprene printed dress

Happy Tuesday!  After whining about how badly I want to take one day off to sleep in and hit the gym after a cozy lazy brunch for almost a month, I finally made my call!  What a beautiful day!  I had a late brunch and took a quick nap before hitting the gym.  Grabbed a coffee at one of my favorite cafe nearby and decided to go get some bagels from NY bagels.  There's a ZARA store two stores next to the bagel shop and there you go... My second part of this blog entry will talk about the pieces I found today!

I really like photo-prints dresses, like those by Clover Crayon on Shopbop.com.  They are gorgeous but kinda pricey.  I've been looking for alternatives less in price, not quality.  Today, I have found a great one for only $1590 NTD.  Retail price in USA is $59.90 (here).

Love the color and the prints.  The material is neoprene and I'm wearing an XS.  The fabric is very stretchy and fit me just fine, maybe a tad toward the tight side.  The fitting of the collar near my back neck is a little funny but acceptable.

I'm thinking about topping it off with black leather jacket and black cut-out booties to put up a cool girl look.  Also, I can wear it with a blazer and a pair of solid color pumps to work.  Third, I would pair it up with a white and silver wedge sandals when it's warm enough to wear it alone.  I will try to take photos of these three styles ASAP.  Can't wait to see how it turns out!

XOXO

[Work Attire] Casual Wednesday - White x Boyfriend Jeans

Wednesday is always the second least formal day of a week.
If your company doesn't not have a strict policy on jeans and you are looking for a professional yet trendy denim look, this is a post that you must read.

This is my inspiration.  However, unless you are working in a highly creative industry or say fashion related firms, this look would be better worn off-duty.

So, I picked a sheer white shirt which is not as over-sized as the one above.
Wore a nude camisole underneath to cover up excessive skin.
Rolled up your sleeves.  Tucked in your shirts casually.
I was looking for a pair of pointy-toe pumps this morning but couldn't find one.
(Put on my shopping list!)
So I threw on a yellow patent belt and cream-color oxford.
Since this is supposed to be a casual wear, I chose an olive utility jacket instead of a blazer.
However, if you would like to add a tad more professional look to it, an over-sized blazer will do the magic.

I would wear nude heels or floral heels to have a better portion if I didn't slept in this morning and got lazy.
Guilty!!

Top: Shirt and Camisole - J.Crew(old)
Jacket: J.Crew (old)
Bottom: Citizens of Humanity Dylan Boyfriend Jeans (SHOPBOP, Nordstrom)
More Boyfriend Jeans on Piperlime here.  Also like this wash on Anthropologie.
Belt: J.Crew Factory(old)
Bag: Goyard, Necklace: Hermes

Heels suggestion:

Love this Jimmy Choo!

More pictures of Dylan.

[Work Attire] Casual Wednesday - Shirt Dress x Sweater Dress

So, this was from last Wednesday, guilty!

It was raining and I didn't really feel like staying in my office after lunch.  I decided to take the rest of the day off and went to an exhibition of LINE characters.

PS. LINE is an APP that is similar to What's APP but with tons of interesting cute stickers sets.

Okay.  Back to my outfits.  I put on my rainy day staple - Hunter Wellies.
To add some color to it, I put on a pink shirt dress from Uniqlo underneath and cinched a red patent belt from J.Crew.  Plus, my lovely Les Nereides necklace!

I really like Jessica the cat!  She is so me!!!

I was going to cover up the face of other pedestrians but covered mine at the same time reluctantly.
Rain-boots: Hunter Original Tall in Black
(Bought from Countryattire.com, very good website to buy Hunters)
Coat: Zara (old)
Pink Shirt Dress: Uniqlo (old) (hits 2-inch below my butt)
Grey Sweater Dress - H&M
Bag: Goyard
Belt: J.Crew
Necklace: Les Nereides

More pictures from the exhibition!

Love Sally the duck too!!  So cute!

[Style Scrapbook] Boyfriend Jeans

I have had a pair of boyfriend jeans from Express for over 5 years.  More specifically, that is the only pair of boyfriend jeans I own.  After all these years, I've been looking for a new pair with a darker wash and no broken-in till I met this pair of "Dylan boyfriend jeans" by Citizen of Humanity!

These are my muse... my source of inspiration...
There are probably tons of examples you can find online by simply typing in "boyfriend jeans" on Google.
Hate to admit, but some of the looks will only look right on some of those tall and skinny asses...
I meant models or lucky girls!

Boyfriend jeans can be versatile...
I think I will try the work wear one or the lady like one on a Friday to work.

The most common looks are: white/grey/black oversize slouchy tee x boyfriend jeans!!

Love this soft pastel pink coat!

Love her face and this look!  (More of her face!)

Sporty look x Leopard look! Clever!

Sexy... with oversized sheer white shirt!  One of my favorite!  I am going to try this one soon!

You gotta be a skinny-ass to pull this look!

Love the ensemble of parka and cable knit sweater!  Don't really like her bag though.

It seems that white chuck taylor converse is one of boyfriend jeans' best friend!
Guess she is about my height, but she looks extremely cute in this outfit!

Ha~ found this comment from a fashion website.

Love the left hand side more.

Very exquisite pullover.

Interesting piece - striped blazer.

Love, love, love!!!! The red d'Orsay just adds the right amount of color!
Love her white coat, love her polka-dot blouse, love her box clutch!

I guess that's enough for this post!
Let's call it a day!

XOXO
